24h ultra - 18th Sept 2021

Start - morning

24h ultra is an unique race as it gives opportunity to push your limits without carrying lots of food, planning a drop bag etc.

You will "enjoy" 17k loop for 24h passing a base camp each time to recharge, change cloths, sleep, chill with others. That give you a comfort of going light and fast. Loop overview: 90% single track, 10% gravel, plenty of difficult terrain, lots of small hills.

Even though 17k has about 390m elevation only (acc to Suunto Spartan Ultra) it feels like much more !

.gpx file you can find on tracedetrail.fr

5 UTMB and ITRA points for 10 loops - 170k/3900m+
3 UTMB and ITRA points for 8 loops - 136k/3150m+
3 ITRA points for 6 loops - 102k/2360m+

Here are some quotes from finishers:

"Man this trail is brutal"

"I'm surprised how did you find so many hills in here!"

"Beautiful forest"

50 km - 18th Sept 2021

(We encourage you to come already on Friday evening and join pre-race bonfire)

8:00-8:40 - BiB numbers, check-in, race briefing

9:00 - START - 24h ultra and 50k

17:00ish - 50k finishers ceremony

It is a NEW trail that follows the same 17km loop for approx 11km.  Route has plenty of small but steep hills, streams crossings, off-trail parts but also many nice forest roads to relax. To navigate you will follow gpx. file and very limited markers. It is not possible to find your way without .gpx navigation. But you don't need a fancy watch, it is enough with a smartphone and e.g. Suunto app. There will be few mandatory check points that you will learn more about during race briefing. At last you will come back to Mossa trail and enjoy last 5km back to the base camp.

There is only one water station after 33km. No food available (only at the base camp)

Trail is evaluated for 2 ITRA points and elevation gain is approx. 1000m+

Recommended gear:

- power bank and cable to refill your watch or/and phone

- min 1,5l of water (the only water station is after 33km)

- enough energy for 6-10h, no food available (only at the base camp)

- rescue blanket

- head lamp

- cloths acc to weather forecast

GPX file you can download from Trace de Trail

in case of problems it is HERE as well:
